Welcome to the heart of Lakewood Ranch’s vibrant community – the Music on Main event! This not-to-be-missed series turns Main Street at 8100 Lakewood Main Street, Lakewood Ranch, FL, into a bustling block party on August 2, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, offering free concerts that celebrate the essence of community spirit. Each event is a unique festivity featuring an array of music genres provided by talented artists, alongside delicious food served by local vendors, refreshing beer from beverage trucks, and an assortment of activities designed specifically for children. What sets Music on Main apart is its noble cause; proceeds from each event are dedicated to supporting different local non-profit organizations, making every beat of music a step towards making a positive impact in the community.

2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Lakewood Ranch, and Music on Main is commemorating this milestone through a series of themed events each month that reflect significant aspects of the community’s history and achievements. From celebrating MVP Sports to highlighting local sports heroes and embracing community-wide holidays, these themes not only entertain but also educate and unite residents and visitors alike. The atmosphere is bursting with excitement, pride, and a deep sense of belonging, making each Music on Main event more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of Lakewood Ranch’s rich heritage and vibrant community life.

Join us on Lakewood Ranch Main Street from 6 – 9 pm for Music on Main, a free concert series and block party for the public!

Lakewood Ranch’s Music on Main continues to offer something for everyone in the upcoming months, with a lineup of events that cater to varied interests and causes. For instance, in July, the series will kick off with a celebration of MVP Sports, featuring the Frisson band and benefiting the MVP Feel Good Fund. Following this, the August event aims to celebrate Lakewood Ranch’s active community with Jesse Daniels performing a mix of country, rock, and soul, in support of Lakewood Ranch Community Activities. The theme of building strong foundations will be highlighted in September with Cassie Jean & The Fireflies, supporting the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation.

As the year progresses, the themes cater to even wider interests: October’s Barktober Fest with Alan Grant Band will support Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue, echoing the community’s love for pets. The focus shifts to Local Sports in November with Trevor Bystrom Band, aiding Manatee PAL, and rounding off the year, December celebrates the holidays with Doug Demming & The Jewel Tones, in support of Easterseals Southwest Florida. Event attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs to enjoy the music comfortably on Main Street but are reminded to leave coolers at home. Demonstrating a commitment to safety and community welfare, the event imposes a Parent on Site Policy, ensuring all visitors under 16 are accompanied by an adult after 6:00 pm, maintaining a safe, family-friendly environment.
